We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Indian Librarian to join our team at the National Library of Kuwait, located in Al-Kuwait. As an Indian Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials.

• Cataloging and classifying new library materials using industry-standard systems
• Managing the circulation desk, including checking books in and out, processing fines and fees, and assisting patrons with inquiries
• Maintaining accurate records of library transactions and statistics
• Assisting with collection development by recommending new materials for purchase
• Providing reference services to patrons by answering research questions and guiding them to relevant resources
• Collaborating with other librarians to plan and coordinate library programs and events
• Supervising library assistants and volunteers

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
• Experience working in a library setting, preferably in a similar role
• Familiarity with cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal Classification or Library of Congress Classification
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in English is preferred but not required for this position.
• Must have a valid biometric passport for travel purposes.
