Auto Mechanic Certified

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose repair and maintain cars vans and light commercial vehicles
• Perform servicing and repairs on engines transmissions brakes suspension steering and cooling systems
• Identify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
• Carry out oil changes filter replacement brake servicing battery checks and general vehicle maintenance
• Inspect vehicles and identify worn or damaged components
• Repair or replace defective mechanical and electrical parts
• Perform vehicle testing after repairs to ensure proper operation
• Maintain service records and follow workshop safety procedures

• Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel vehicle systems
• Experience with engine repair transmission clutch braking suspension and steering systems
• Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems
• Ability to use OBD diagnostic scanners and automotive testing tools
• Experience with AC systems cooling systems fuel systems and exhaust systems
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical electrical and electronic faults
• Knowledge of wheel alignment balancing and tyre-related maintenance is an advantage
• Ability to read basic vehicle service manuals and technical specifications

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience as an Auto Mechanic.
• ITI/Diploma/Automotive Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Relevant mechanic certification is an advantage.
• Strong hands‑on experience in vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team.
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment.
