- To manage, oversee and implement EHS related activities within the company to ensure the full compliance with the company standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Develop, update and enforce EHS policies and procedures.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly EHS report for management.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and workplace inspections.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain risk register and safety documentation.
- Maintain 5S and implement where necessary.
- Ensures that the company policy for safety and security is being followed.
- Coordinates with the Factory Manager and General Manager for any work accident or emergency.
- Investigate accidents and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare detailed incident reports with root cause analysis.
- Follow up on corrective action implementation.
- Conduct EHS inductions for new commers and refresher training sessions periodically for EHS related Topics.
- Organize toolbox talks and awareness campaigns.
- Ensure employees are trained in emergency procedures.
- Monitor waste management, emissions and environmental impact.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar position.
- Excellent command of the English languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- High sense of responsibility
- Must hold valid Kuwait Drivers license.
