Estimation Engineer

The Estimation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait City. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for lighting projects, including quantities, materials, and labor, based on drawings, specifications, and client requirements. Daily tasks include developing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), reviewing project documents, coordinating with sales and design teams, and providing pricing proposals that align with project budgets.

The Estimation Engineer will also support negotiations with suppliers and clients, maintain estimation records, and update cost databases to reflect market trends. Collaboration with project managers and lighting consultants is essential to ensure accurate estimates and timely responses to inquiries and tenders.

• Candidates should possess strong BOQ and Project Estimation skills for construction and lighting projects.
• Candidates should possess Civil Engineering knowledge and a solid understanding of construction materials and methods.
• Candidates should possess effective Negotiation skills for working with suppliers and clients.
• Candidates should possess Research skills to analyze market prices, technical specifications, and alternative solutions.
• Candidates should have proficiency in MS Excel and estimation or ERP software.
• Candidates should have strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
• Candidates should have good written and verbal communication skills in English;
  Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree or diploma and prior experience in estimation, preferably in lighting or construction.
