The E-Commerce Specialist is a key contributor to the smooth operation of OG Money Mart's e-commerce platform. This role ensures accurate order processing, timely fulfillment, and strong coordination between internal teams and external merchants. By maintaining up-to-date product listings, resolving issues quickly, and supporting merchant onboarding, the specialist helps deliver a reliable and seamless shopping experience. The position is critical to enhancing customer satisfaction, improving operational efficiency, and enabling the platform’s continued growth and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage all incoming customer orders on OG Money Mart
- Process, confirm, and fulfill orders promptly and accurately
- Work with suppliers to track order status and resolve delays
- Maintain detailed order records and generate regular performance reports
- Update product details, pricing, and availability on the platform
- Ensure all product information is accurate, complete, and professionally presented
- Collaborate with suppliers to receive updated catalogs, pricing, and stock data
- Act as the main contact for current suppliers and merchants
- Follow up on fulfillment progress, stock issues, and operational discrepancies
- Support onboarding of new merchants, including:
- Collecting required documentation
- Uploading products and services
- Ensuring a smooth launch process
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues (e.g., delays, wrong items, refunds)
- Escalate complex issues appropriately and ensure timely resolution
- Partner with:
- Product Team: to support platform enhancements and improvements
- Technical Team: to report bugs, system issues, and suggest upgrades
- Finance Team: for order processing, reconciliation, payments, and merchant settlements
- Track daily KPIs (orders, cancellations, complaints, etc.)
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Prepare regular performance and issue summary reports
Requirements:
- Diploma in business, e-commerce, or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms and order management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Foundational problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Previous experience in customer service or operations is an advantage
- Experience with supplier coordination and merchant onboarding is preferred
