Receptionist; Star Assistant; Mercedes Benz

Objective:

To act as the first point of contact for customers entering the showroom reception, ensuring a professional welcome and a positive first impression of the brand. The role is responsible for delivering a high standard of customer care, supporting customer satisfaction, managing customer traffic, and coordinating staff availability to ensure a smooth & efficient showroom reception experience.

• Proactively greet and welcome customers upon arrival, ensuring a professional and positive first impression of the brand.
• Identify the purpose of each customer’s visit and assess their initial requirements.
• Offer hospitality and refreshments, ensuring customers remain comfortable and attended to while waiting.
• Guide customers to the designated welcome area & introduce them to relevant digital media.
• Maintain a welcoming and customer focused environment throughout each customer’s visit.
• Maintain a pleasant welcoming experience and customer-focused environment throughout the customer’s visit.
• Ensure a pleasant welcoming & customer-focused experience throughout the customer’s visit.

• Manage and maintain an accurate overview of showroom capacity, waiting times, and staff availability across the showroom and service lobby at all times.
• Ensure all digital signage in the showroom and service reception is in perfect working condition, is switched on is displaying the relevant content
• Cooperate with and support showroom and service reception staff at all times

• Match customer to their appointments via Autoline flow system.
• Assign customer(s) to relevant Sales Advisor/Product Expert/Service Advisor or one of the relevant pools if no appointment.
• Introduce customers to the relevant advisor and ensure a proper handover by communicating all relevant information.
• Create new customer profiles and update existing customer information and insights to provide most current/relevant description of requirements.

• Review scheduled appointments in advance and prepare for customers’ arrival.
• Engage customers professionally to understand their primary requirements, interests, and expectations.
• Conduct an initial assessment of each customer’s sales requirements to ensure assignment to the appropriate team member.
• Act as the main coordination point between various functions within the showroom & service reception

• Bachelor’s degree in any field or a diploma.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or sales role.
• Experience in the automotive industry will be considered an advantage.

• Knowledge of customer relationship management and front desk coordination.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in basic MS office applications.
• Ability to manage customer flow and handle inquiries professionally.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
