Job SummaryOur Dentist will be responsible for providing high quality patient care, diagnosing dental conditions, performing dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges and other treatments while adhering to the highest standards of professional ethics and safety. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and will possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as a genuine concern for patients’ comfort and well-being.

Job ResponsibilitiesThe primary role of our Dentist is to provide exceptional patient care through diagnosis and treatment of dental conditions. This includes examining teeth, gums, mouth tissue, jaws and teeth alignment by using x-rays or other diagnostic tools; ensuring proper sterilization techniques; filling cavities or removing decay; extracting teeth; creating impressions for dentures or crowns; applying protective coatings or sealants; treating gum diseases;
cleaning teeth; providing preventative education to patients on oral hygiene; referring patients to specialists as needed; ordering supplies; keeping accurate records of treatments rendered/diagnosis made/medications prescribed; administering local anesthesia during procedures when necessary; keeping abreast of new developments in the field by attending seminars/conferences/reading journals/books etc.; maintaining licensure requirements.
The successful candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience as a dentist combined with a valid Dental Degree from an accredited institution. They should also have excellent communication skills (verbal & written), demonstrate strong problem solving abilities, remain current with best practices in the field of dentistry through continuing education courses as needed, be comfortable working independently without direct supervision when required as well as having knowledge of relevant computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite etc..
A deep understanding & commitment to patient centered service is also essential along with being able to create rapport with both patients & staff quickly & effectively.
