Product Designer

Product Designer responsibilities include defining product specifications, creating digital or print drawings, and designing fully functional products. Have an eye for color and shape and be able to translate requirements into practical product features.

• Identify opportunities, define product vision and understand market needs, roadmap, and strategy
• Work with stakeholders technology team to produce world class products driven by technology visionaries, domain experts, and customers
• Collect and synthesize inputs from engineering, sales, business units, vertical marketing group, and the market to lead business and products direction
• Create design concepts and drawings to determine the best product
• Present product ideas to relevant team members for brainstorming
• Gather business requirements, market research, competitor research, and user research
• Maintain changes in tactics and marketing strategy, take cognizance of competitive activities and general trends that could affect sales of products
• Define the problems, user flows, business rules, and value propositions
• Define the product backlog and create actionable user stories for the development teams
• User Acceptance Testing (Accept the completed user stories to make sure the work fulfills the criteria)
• Product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes using Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, and wireframes
• Assess business feasibility of the solutions to mitigate execution risk
• Analyze how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences
• Build relationships with strategic partners that can add value to our product offering
• Monitor usage to evaluate the performance of the product and then identify iteration opportunities

• Work experience as a Product Designer or similar role
• Creativity in mixing up colors, shapes, and techniques
• Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends
• Excellent attention to detail
• Artistic and innovative flair
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional team members
• Having a customer centric approach and being obsessed with creating an exceptional customer experience
• Proficiency in setting the strategy, roadmap, and execution plans for the product
