Interior Architect - Fit-Out | 1-4 Years Experience

I Build General Buildings & Contracting Company W.L.L. (IBC) is looking for a talented and ambitious Interior Architect with hands‑on fit‑out experience, preferably in Food & Beverage projects, to join our team in Kuwait.

This opportunity is intended for an architect who understands that successful F&B design is not only about appearance—it must also be practical, buildable, coordinated, and suitable for daily operations.

The selected candidate will gain direct exposure to the complete project journey, from technical design development and shop drawings to site coordination, execution, and final handover.

• Prepare architectural layouts, elevations, sections, shop drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
• Develop practical and buildable design solutions for restaurants, cafés, and other F&B concepts.
• Coordinate architectural works with MEP systems, kitchen equipment, signage, lighting, and site requirements.
• Prepare and review joinery details, material selections, finishes, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site visits and ensure that drawings and design requirements are correctly implemented.
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
• Identify and resolve technical and design-related issues during execution.
• Support projects through design development, construction, snagging, and final handover.

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture.
• Minimum 1 year and maximum 4 years of hands‑on experience in interior fit‑out projects.
• Previous experience in restaurant, café, or other F&B fit‑out projects is strongly preferred.
• Practical experience in technical drawings, shop drawings, joinery details, finishes, and site coordination.
• Strong command of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Sketch Up, 3ds Max, Revit, or rendering software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of the coordination required between architectural, MEP, and kitchen‑equipment works.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and commitment to project deadlines.
• A professional portfolio showing actual fit‑out projects, preferably including F&B work.
