Babnimnim Design Studio, established in 2010 in Kuwait, is an architectural firm driven by a passion for creating designs of international standards, emphasizing intricate details and strong branding. Inspired by cultural elements, Babnimnim focuses on innovative and methodical approaches to architecture and interior design projects, combining functionality and creativity. The studio has successfully completed projects across commercial, residential, public, and hospitality sectors.

With a decade of experience, Babnimnim has established itself as a detail-oriented and innovative design firm in the region. Currently, the team is composed of 19 dedicated professionals committed to delivering excellence in design and construction quality.

We are looking for a design-oriented Senior Architect to join Babnimnim : a multidisciplinary design house with over 15 years of practice in architecture, interior design, and brand-driven spatial narratives. This is not a technical drafting role. We are seeking a design thinker: someone who understands proportion, context, and how to shape space with intention. Our ethos is rooted in storytelling, refinement, cultural depth, and human-scale design.

We craft spaces that feel effortless yet layered, where materiality is local yet elevated, and every detail carries weight. You must be confident in leading a project from initial conception through to technical development, client presentation, and final execution on site, all while maintaining the narrative clarity and design integrity Babnimnim is known for.

• Lead the design process from narrative to built form, with a strong emphasis on spatial logic, aesthetic clarity, and cultural grounding.
• Translate conceptual direction into precise drawings and details that maintain the soul of the original idea.
• Develop full design packages: mood boards, concept visuals, layout plans, material palettes, and render direction.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Senior Design Officer to deliver concept, design development, and technical detailing with excellence.
• Oversee material and finish selections, especially those that reflect our practice’s emphasis on tactility, craft, and story (e.g., natural materials, textured surfaces, layered tones).
• Provide clear design direction to 3D teams and visualizers; review all visuals before client sharing.
• Attend and contribute to client presentations, articulating the story and reasoning behind every design decision.
• Coordinate with engineers and site teams to ensure build-ability without compromise to the concept.
• Review and finalize FF&E, lighting, joinery, and spatial accessories alongside project designers.
• Support procurement reviews and site visits when needed, with a keen eye on detail execution and alignment with drawings.

• Strong architectural and interior design background with a deep sense of restraint, proportion, and timelessness.
• Ability to express ideas conceptually, not just stylistically.
• Obsessed with material research and spatial experience, not trendy, but memorable.
• Excellent communication and visual storytelling skills, someone who can explain a design idea as clearly as they can sketch it.
• Willing to think across disciplines, whether it’s a floor pattern, wall paneling, brand storytelling, or joinery detail.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; MA is a plus.
• 5–7 years’ experience in a design-led firm.
• Fluency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite, 3D tools (Blender / 3ds Max).
• Strong sketching, diagramming, and conceptual representation skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written);
  Arabic is a plus.
• Experience in preparing presentation packs, construction details, and coordinating FF&E packages.
• Awareness of procurement, materials sourcing, and site supervision phases.
