SCHOOL COUNSELORS - AUGUST 2026 URGENT NEED FOR SOCIAL AND COLLEGE COUNSELORS This American curriculum school in Kuwait stands as a premier institution dedicated to nurturing innovation, academic excellence, and global citizenship. Responsibilities

The School Counselor will demonstrate the ability to perform designated duties and work collaboratively with school administrators, students, parents, teachers, and staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to working with young people in the areas of academic achievement, career development, personal/social development, and community involvement.

Eligibility
  • Passport holders from the USA / Canada / UK
  • New graduates (newly qualified teachers) are welcome to apply
  • Unqualified teachers are also welcome but the salary will be lower
Teacher Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or School Counseling and/or recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS,

    B.Ed., or equivalent) preferable
  • Minimum 2‑3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international or bilingual schools, but less will be considered
  • Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Experience with international curricula (American, British, IB, or Cambridge) is highly preferred
  • Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
  • Ability to use modern, student‑centered and inquiry‑based teaching methods
  • Ability to deliver the American curriculum using engaging, student‑centered approaches
  • Effective classroom management and lesson planning skills
  • Commitment to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and student engagement
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Adaptability and cultural awareness within a diverse, international environment
