Educational Counselor (Study Abroad)
Full-time | On-site | Kuwait City
At Ulearn
, we don’t want to be the typical education agency that simply submits university applications.
We work closely with students from the moment they start thinking about studying abroad — helping them choose the right university and major, prepare their applications, understand their options, complete their visa process, apply for scholarships, and feel confident about starting a completely new chapter of their lives.
And we want someone who genuinely understands that experience.
The RoleWe’re looking for an Educational Counselor who can connect with students, understand what they’re looking for, and guide them through the entire study-abroad process.
You’ll speak with students and parents every day, recommend universities and study options, follow up with applications, solve problems, and build genuine relationships with the students you work with.
You’ll be talking to students, meeting families, attending events, working with universities, collaborating with the Ulearn team, and becoming someone students trust when making one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
What you’ll be doing :- Meet with students and parents to understand their academic goals, interests and future plans.
- Help students choose suitable universities, majors and study destinations.
- Guide students through university applications from start to finish.
- Follow up on offers, documents, deadlines and university requirements.
- Build strong relationships with students and stay in touch throughout their journey.
- Communicate with universities and international education partners.
- Work closely with our admissions, visa, marketing and student experience teams.
- Take part in school visits, student events, university fairs and Ulearn activities.
- Keep student information and application progress organized and up to date.
- Make sure every student receives the level of service and attention we expect at Ulearn.
You should have studied in, or personally applied to study in, at least one of the following countries:
- United Kingdom
- United States
- Canada
- Australia
- Ireland
We want someone who understands the experience — researching universities, preparing documents, waiting for offers, figuring out visas, moving abroad and adapting to a new country.
You don’t necessarily need years of experience as an educational counselor. We care more about finding someone who is:- Confident and comfortable speaking with students and parents.
- Friendly, energetic and easy to talk to.
- Organized and good at following up.
- Responsible and able to manage multiple students at the same time.
- Curious and willing to learn about universities, courses and admission requirements.
- Comfortable working with targets and taking ownership of results.
- Native Arabic speaker and comfortable communicating in English.
- Good with people — not just good with paperwork.
- You’re the person your friends normally ask about universities, studying abroad, applications or life overseas.
- You enjoy meeting new people.
- You like helping someone go from “I have no idea where to study” to “I got my university offer.”
Looking forward to meeting you.
