Part-Time Librarian; Indian Nationals

We are seeking a part-time Librarian to join our team at a library in Al-Kuwait This position is suitable for Indian nationals who are looking for a part-time job without accommodation

As a Librarian you will be responsible for managing the librarys collections assisting patrons with research and information inquiries and organizing library events and programs

• Manage and maintain the librarys collections including cataloging and processing new materials
• Provide assistance to patrons with research and information inquiries both in person and through online resources
• Plan and organize library events and programs such as book clubs storytelling sessions and workshops
• Ensure the library is clean organized and welcoming for all visitors
• Keep track of overdue materials and issue fines when necessary
• Create displays to promote new books or special collections
• Train volunteers or interns who may assist with daily tasks

• Must be an Indian national with a valid work permit in Al-Kuwait
• Previous experience working in a library or related field is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiarity with online research tools and databases
• Flexible schedule to accommodate evening or weekend events

The salary for this position is 1100$ per month
