We are looking for a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team at Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a library setting.
The primary responsibilities of this position include collecting, organizing, and managing library resources; helping patrons locate and use library materials; cataloguing books, periodicals, documents, audio-visual materials, and other resources; maintaining digital databases and catalogues; researching topics online or utilising physical sources; overseeing library operations and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed; providing library instruction to both students and faculty members;

assisting with special projects as needed; preparing bibliographies upon request; and performing other related duties as assigned.
The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, customer service abilities, knowledge of current technologies, an aptitude for working with computers, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with patrons of all ages. A bachelor’s degree in Library Sciences or a related field is preferred but not required. We welcome applications from candidates who are immigrants.

The salary offered for this position is 1100 KD per month.
