Librarian vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait for unskilled worker
Job Title:
Librarian
Location:
Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1400 KD/Month
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team at Al-Kuwait.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a library collection that meets the needs of patrons
- Provide reference assistance to patrons
- Manage the circulation of materials
- Monitor and purchase new materials
- Process new materials and return books to shelves
- Help patrons use library computer systems
- Teach classes on library resources and services
- Prepare reports on library activities
- Supervise student assistants and other staff members
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Librarian or similar role in a library setting
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems and other information retrieval systems
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
