Librarian job vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait for unskilled workers
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a library of books, periodicals, audio materials and other related documents. You will be expected to provide access to these resources, as well as provide research services and guidance to users of the library.
Requirements- A degree in Library Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of library cataloging standards such as MARC and Dewey Decimal System
- Experience with library software systems such as OCLC and SIRSI/Unicorn
- Ability to work with diverse populations in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Arabic
- Familiarity with current trends in library services
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Immigrant status is welcome but not required.
