Librarian Al unskilled worker

Librarian job vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait for unskilled worker. We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. This position offers a salary of 1600 and we are willing to consider a foreigner for the role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing the library, ensuring that it is well maintained and efficiently operated. The primary duties of the Librarian are to provide information services, acquire materials, develop collections, and promote library use by students, faculty/staff, and the community at large.

• Organizing library resources and collections to ensure all materials are easily accessible
• Maintaining electronic databases of library information
• Acquiring new books, magazines, journals, audio-visual materials or other resources for the library
• Assisting patrons with their research needs by providing access to online databases or other resources
• Developing educational programming related to libraries as needed
• Supervising student assistants or other staff members involved in library operations
• Assuring adherence to copyright legislation when providing access to digital media

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in a library setting and have a demonstrated knowledge of library systems and procedures. Strong organizational skills and excellent customer service are also required.
