Full-time English Speaking Librarian for African Library in Kuwait

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Full-time English Speaking Librarian to join our team at our African Library located in Kuwait. As a member of our library, you will be responsible for managing and organizing a diverse collection of books and resources, providing excellent customer service to patrons, and promoting literacy and learning within the community.

• Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and other resources
• Organize library materials according to established systems
• Assist patrons with locating and checking out materials
• Develop and implement programs and activities to promote literacy and learning among patrons
• Maintain accurate records of library transactions and inventory
• Stay updated on current trends in literature, education, and technology to enhance the library's offerings

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Previous experience working as a librarian preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations
• Ability to work full-time with flexible hours including weekends
