Librarian - Al-Kuwait

We are in need of a skilled Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library collection, organizing and cataloging materials, assisting patrons with research and finding resources, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the library.

• Manage the library collection, including acquiring, processing, and cataloging new materials
• Assist patrons with research inquiries and locating relevant resources
• Maintain accurate records of library materials and transactions
• Develop and implement library programs and events to promote literacy and learning
• Train and supervise library staff and volunteers
• Ensure the library is clean, organized, and welcoming for patrons
• Stay updated on current trends in librarianship and continuously improve library services

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of cataloging systems, reference tools, and computer applications used in libraries
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: 1600$ per month

Al-Kuwait

• We offer competitive salaries based on experience. This position does not require English proficiency.
