We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent with strong deep drilling land rig maintenance experience to lead mechanical maintenance activities and ensure maximum equipment reliability and availability
Key Responsibilities- Lead mechanical maintenance and repair activities on deep drilling rigs
- Oversee preventive predictive and corrective maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot and maintain rig equipment including drawworks
- top drives
- mud pumps
- engines
- generators
- hydraulics
- and compressors
- Manage mechanical maintenance teams and manpower
- Plan major repairs
- overhauls
- and shutdown activities
- Monitor equipment performance
- downtime
- and maintenance KPIs
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company procedures
15+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in oil & gas drilling.
Strong deep drilling land rig experience.
Previous experience as Mechanical Superintendent / Senior Mechanical Maintenance professional.
Strong hands‑on knowledge of drilling rig mechanical systems.
Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma preferred.
International drilling contractor experience is an advantage.
