Project Manager-Dairy

Our client, a leading player in the FMCG sector based in Kuwait, is seeking an experienced Project Manager-Dairy to lead and manage dairy-related projects from ideation to execution. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge of dairy processing, strong project management skills, and a collaborative approach. They will oversee the full project lifecycle while ensuring timelines, budget, and scope are strictly maintained.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of dairy-related projects from concept to completion within defined scope, budget, and time constraints
• Support additional projects within the dairy domain based on subject-matter expertise
• Conduct technical feasibility assessments and contribute to financial feasibility analysis
• Define project tasks, resource requirements, and develop detailed project plans and timelines
• Prepare and review engineering documents, including P&IDs, instrumentation diagrams, and process layouts
• Create and review tender documents, technical specifications, quotations, and other contractual documentation
• Conduct site visits and fieldwork to gather technical and operational requirements
• Perform and validate engineering calculations to support project design and execution
• Identify all project stakeholders and manage communication and expectations
• Define and manage the project budget and procurement processes
• Allocate resources efficiently and monitor project progress, reporting regularly to leadership
• Develop and maintain a risk register and manage project risks throughout the lifecycle
• Apply effective change management practices to handle project adjustments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Engineering, and Procurement
• Contribute to team competency development and support the growth of junior team members
• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and national working practices when carrying out duties
• Execute directives from management and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field, with PMP certification preferred
• Extensive experience (15+ years) in FMCG, including significant exposure (10+ years) to dairy equipment design engineering or dairy project management
• Strong technical knowledge of dairy technology and processing, with experience working alongside leading dairy equipment manufacturers (e.g., "Tetra Pak, GEA")
• Skilled in creating and modifying P&IDs, and proficient in MS Office and MS Project
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
• Membership of Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) is a plus
