Network Design Specialist Job Kuwait City area,Kuwait,Engineering

Responsibilities

This role will have 80% design tasks and 20% operations & implementation tasks.

He / She will work closely with the Company to determine business process and productivity needs and an appropriate technology strategy to support business goals.

He / She will analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of the network’s infrastructure design, integration, and operations.

He / She will work with technical management to architect networks that effectively reflect business needs, service-level and availability requirements, and other technology parameters.

He / She will develop design principles, models, plans, internal standards, budgets, and processes based on industry best practices.

He / She will establish governing principles for network design and network operations.

He / She will participate in selection of networking technologies and solutions for implementation.

He / She will create and present feasibility study and business case for any new technology investments.

He / She will produce a blueprint for a complex, large-scale, integrated network.

He / She will gather and analyze both business and technical requirements.

He / She will map business requirements to technical requirements.

He / She will build simulated networks to resolve problems and compatibility issues, and perform an analysis of network designs.

He / She will keep up-to-date with the latest technology products, to provide high-quality support in current and future services.

He / She will create network services dependency mapping.

He / She will create high and low level design documentations for Company network infrastructure.

He / She will provide support to operation team in performing analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems.

He / She will provide knowledge transfer to other team members.

Performs other related duties as directed.

Skills

Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Preferably 15 years experience in network operations and network design.
Expert Network level certifications such as CCIE, CCDE, or equivalent.
Deep understanding for different types of network such as Campus, Datacenter, Branches, Wireless, and Virtual.
Experience in designing and implementation network solutions.
Experience in multivendor network environment.
Deep understanding for all network layers protocols and technologies.
Deep understanding for network management & monitoring protocols and tools.
Network programmability and automation skill is preferred.
