We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in one of our projects in Kuwait.
Responsibilities- Conduct environmental inspections and audits on site facilities; maintain a project audit schedule and reports.
- Maintain records as required by the environmental requirements.
- Provide troubleshooting advice and assistance related to project environmental issues.
- Report any environmental incidents to the client within the required time frames, recommend measures to avoid re-occurrence, and maintain environmental incident records.
- Organize, participate and evaluate response drills regarding environmental emergencies and recommend improvements.
- Increase environmental awareness by developing relevant presentations to site employees.
- Participate in the development of environmental related project documents, plans and procedures.
- Assist the Environmental Manager and/or HSE Manager in their daily operations.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
- Four‑year full‑time Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor (preferable).
- Other HSE trainings/certifications are added advantage.
- Minimum five years of experience in the field of environmental in core industries like refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, steel plants and heavy chemicals; marine experience is required.
- Fluency in the English language.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with high attention to details.
- Result‑driven person with report writing and communication skills.
