Petroleum Engineer

• Design systems for exploring and extracting oil or gas from deep underground wells
• Evaluate potential sites for drilling
• Research new methods of refining
• Monitor production rates
• Oversee drilling operations
• Conduct tests on samples taken from wells
• Ensure safety standards are met
• Prepare reports on findings
• Advise management on ways to increase efficiency or reduce costs
• Supervise maintenance crews

Minimum 5 years' experience in the field with knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices used in oil and gas production. Excellent communication skills, organized and detail-oriented, problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently as well as part of a team, and proficiency in relevant software applications.
