Purpose:
Plan execute, and document pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation system to ensure safe and reliable handover to Operations
Key Responsibilities:Planning & Preparation
- Develop Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation commissioning procedures, check-sheets, and test packs
- Review system design and construction status to confirm readiness for commissioning
- Lead system flushing, leak testing, loop checks, and functional testing of equipment
- Perform safety system verification including ESD, F&G, and Cause & Effect testing
- Coordinate with construction, vendors, and Operations to close punch lists
- Compile records and complete handover dossiers for Ready For Start-Up
- Enforce Permit-to-Work and SIMOPS requirements during all activities
- Ensure full compliance with project HSSE standards and procedures
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Process / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas site construction including 5 years in a similar position
- Proven experience with KOC / KNPC / KIPIC /JO projects
