Inspection Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform third-party inspections for Electrical & mechanical equipment, piping, structural steel, pressure vessels, storage tanks, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Full knowledge about tendering and K-Companies approval procedures.
• Review inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality plans, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Witness inspections, tests, and factory acceptance tests (FATs).
• Verify material traceability, dimensional accuracy, welding quality, and coating/painting activities.
• Monitor non-destructive testing (NDT) activities and review NDT reports.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and submit them within the required timelines.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and verify implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and project teams during inspection activities.
• Ensure inspections are carried out in accordance with project specifications and international standards.
• Maintain professional conduct while representing the company at client and vendor locations.
• Follow all safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture during inspection activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 08–10 years of experience in quality inspection, QA/QC, or third-party inspection.
• Experience in O & G, power, manufacturing, or construction projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of international codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO, and EN.
• Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, NDT, coating, and material inspection.
