Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead technicians responsible for the maintenance of online analyzers, gas chromatographs, and laboratory instrumentation.
- Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Review work orders, maintenance schedules, and spare parts requirements using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Perform and supervise analyzer calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, calibration gases, and consumables for maintenance operations.
- Maintain equipment history, calibration records, and maintenance documentation.
- Conduct final inspection, testing, and operational adjustments following maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit-to-work procedures, and maintenance best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience maintaining and calibrating online analyzers, gas chromatographs, and laboratory instrumentation, including at least 4 years in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar process industry.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong knowledge of analyzer calibration, troubleshooting, testing, and preventive maintenance.
- Experience maintaining calibration records, equipment history, and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of industrial safety standards and permit-to-work procedures.
