Project Controls Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Controls Project Engineer to join their team in Kuwait.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, commissioning, and execution of building automation and control projects, including HVAC control systems and security solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, contractors
, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Designing, commissioning, and executing Building Management System (BMS) and automation projects.
• HVAC control systems including AHUs, FCUs, Chillers, and Air Washers.
• Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS).
• Security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and Time & Attendance solutions.
• Managing the complete lifecycle of BMS projects from design through final handover.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex automation and control system issues.
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients to secure project approvals and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely delivery according to project schedules.
• Identifying and implementing automation solutions for various industrial and commercial applications.

• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Ability to prepare clear technical reports and project documentation.
• Effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience providing project updates, invoice details, and escalation of critical issues when required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Controls, HVAC, Building Automation Systems (BAS), BMS,or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of building automation systems, controls engineering, and project execution.
• E
  xperience with contracting processes related to building automation system installations is highly preferred.
• Previous experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities is advantageous.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, test, commission, and optimize automation systems.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, compliance requirements, and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Valid driver's license is required.
