Instrumentation Engineer

Jassim Qabazard Engineering Consultants is an established architecture and planning firm headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The Instrumentation Engineer will work full time on-site in Kuwait City, supporting the design, specification, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems for engineering projects. Daily responsibilities include selecting and configuring instruments, developing control philosophies, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams. The role involves performing site inspections, overseeing commissioning activities, and ensuring instruments are properly calibrated and integrated with process control systems.

The Instrumentation Engineer will also diagnose and resolve operational issues, support compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and provide technical guidance to contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• B.Sc Electrical Engineering, Experience in Oil/ Gas Construction.
• Minimum experience 10 to 15 years.
• Strong knowledge of Instrumentation and Process Control, including selection, configuration, and integration of field instruments and control systems.
• Hands-on experience in Troubleshooting and Calibration of instrumentation, with the ability to perform diagnostics and maintain system accuracy.
• Foundational understanding of Electrical Engineering principles related to control panels, wiring, and signal integrity.
• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in engineering consulting, industrial facilities, or construction projects, preferably in the Middle East region.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors.
