R D Manager

We are seeking an experienced R D Manager to lead our Research Development activities in the development and optimization of oil field chemical products and treatment solutions

Lead and manage R D activities projects and product development initiatives Develop formulate test and optimize oil field chemicals including corrosion inhibitors scale inhibitors demulsifiers produced-water treatment chemicals and other specialty chemicals Lead laboratory testing product evaluation validation and performance analysis Conduct and oversee field trials site testing troubleshooting and chemical dosage optimization Work closely with customers and end users to understand technical requirements and provide appropriate chemical solutions Collaborate with Sales Production Procurement Supply Chain and QHSE teams to support product development and commercialization Evaluate raw materials alternative formulations suppliers and new chemical technologies Maintain proper R D documentation technical reports laboratory records and product development data Ensure compliance with applicable Quality Health Safety Environmental requirements and industry standards Lead supervise and develop the R D team while promoting innovation and continuous improvement Support Management in identifying new product opportunities and strengthening EEC s competitiveness in the Kuwait upstream market

Bachelor s Master s degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related field Strong experience in oil field chemical R D formulation laboratory testing and field applications Hands-on knowledge of corrosion scale demulsification produced-water treatment and chemical optimization Strong leadership analytical problem-solving and customer-facing skills Experience in developing and commercializing chemical products for the oil gas industry will be highly preferred
