Job Responsibilities
- Perform 3D geological and static reservoir modeling by integrating geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and well data.
- Develop and evaluate multiple geological model realizations to capture and quantify key subsurface uncertainties.
- Identify and mature remaining and bypassed hydrocarbon opportunities in mature reservoirs through integrated reservoir characterization and model-based evaluation.
- Perform well placement and optimization for appraisal, infill, step-out, producer, and injector wells.
- Integrate reservoir quality, fluid distribution, connectivity, and geological uncertainty into well-placement and field-development decisions.
- Apply advanced reservoir characterization, geological modeling technologies, and workflows to improve subsurface understanding.
- Provide technical geoscience input to field-development planning and reservoir-management decisions.
