Design Mechanical Engineer with hands‑on experience in the Oil Gas industry The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing reviewing and validating mechanical designs preparing FEED Front-End Engineering Design packages and ensuring that all project drawings and technical documents meet industry standards codes and project specifications
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and develop FEED packages including mechanical design calculations datasheets and technical specifications
- Review and verify project drawings datasheets and technical documents for accuracy completeness and compliance with project requirements and standards
- Perform mechanical design calculations equipment selection and material specification in line with project requirements
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including piping civil electrical and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated project delivery
- Ensure designs meet client requirements project timelines and international standards
- Provide technical support during project execution including design modifications clarifications and troubleshooting
- Ensure all engineering deliverables adhere to HSE standards company policies and applicable codes
- Support procurement activities by providing technical input for mechanical equipment and material selection
- Assist in developing project schedules cost estimates and technical reports
- Proven ability to review project drawings technical documents audits and project meetings
- Demonstrate excellent analytical communication and coordination skills to ensure effective collaboration and project delivery
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in engineering software/tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, Smart Plant, or similar).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, codes, and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
Skills:
- Familiarity with project management tools and documentation control systems.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
