Job Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, particularly process gas compressors, including medium-pressure (MP) and low-pressure (LP) compressors.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues in coordination with maintenance teams.
- Participate in HAZOP reviews for compressor systems, evaluate operational risks, and support the resolution of identified HAZOP recommendations.
- Ensure compressor maintenance and operations comply with applicable international engineering standards and equipment codes.
- Conduct lifecycle cost analysis, risk assessments, and value improvement studies to identify cost-reduction and equipment reliability opportunities.
- Provide technical support during project execution and maintenance activities to improve compressor performance, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in compressor maintenance and servicing within the Oil & Gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.
- Strong hands‑on experience with process gas compressors, particularly medium‑pressure and low‑pressure compressor systems.
- Good knowledge of rotating equipment, compressor maintenance practices, and applicable international standards and codes.
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation-related compressor issues.
- Familiarity with HAZOP, risk assessment, lifecycle cost analysis, and equipment reliability improvement.
