Cards Product Manager

We are looking for an experienced Cards Product Manager to lead and support the growth of a major bank’s Cards business in Kuwait. The role will focus on credit card portfolio strategy, new card and SME card launches, customer acquisition, loyalty, portfolio performance and large-scale card transformation initiatives.

• Develop and execute strategies to grow the credit card and SME credit card business, including new product launches and market opportunities.
• Own and enhance card portfolio performance, including activation, spend, utilization, profitability, attrition and customer satisfaction.
• Lead the development and implementation of cards loyalty programmes and customer engagement initiatives.
• Drive customer acquisition, card usage and spend uplift through targeted product and marketing initiatives.
• Manage complex card upgrades, migrations and transformation projects across issuing platforms.
• Work closely with Technology, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Product and external vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee technical readiness across card issuing platforms, BIN configuration, card profiles, tokenization, digital wallets, recurring payments, authorization/clearing, 3DS/ACS and fraud controls.
• Ensure operational readiness across card production, personalization, dispatch and delivery.
• Monitor key portfolio KPIs and use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, risks and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with card-scheme requirements, regulatory frameworks, data privacy and governance standards.

• 8+ years of experience in Cards Product Management, preferably within a bank, card issuer or payments organization.
• Strong experience across credit/debit card issuing, card portfolio management and payment processing.
• Proven experience launching new card products and managing large-scale card upgrade, migration or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of loyalty solutions, customer acquisition and card portfolio growth.
• Knowledge of Visa/Mastercard schemes, digital wallets, tokenization, fraud/risk and payment technologies.
• Strong analytical and portfolio management skills, with proficiency in Excel and Tableau.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across business, technology, operations and external vendors.
• Knowledge of the Kuwait/GCC cards market and regulatory environment is highly desirable.
• Fluent English required;
  Arabic is preferred.
