Job Title: Pediatric Speech Therapist
Job Code: PST-001
Department: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Your Impact- 100% of pediatric patients receive an individualized, evidence-based therapy plan following comprehensive assessment
- 100% of feeding and swallowing (dysphagia) cases managed safely within approved scope
- Consistent coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver family-centered care
- Home programs and caregiver education provided for patients to support therapy carryover
- Patient Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, feeding, and swallowing assessments for infants, children, and adolescents. - Therapy & Intervention:
Deliver individualized therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, feeding, and swallowing — including AAC strategies where needed. - Specialized Pediatric Care:
Support children with ASD, ADHD, DLD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, hearing impairment, and cleft palate. - Family Education & Carryover:
Train parents and caregivers on home programs to reinforce therapy progress. - Multidisciplinary
Collaboration:
Partner with medical and allied health specialists to coordinate holistic, multidisciplinary patient care. - Documentation & Quality:
Maintain clinical documentation and support audits and safety initiatives.
- Strong organizational ability paired with clear, effective communication
- Emotional resilience in emotionally demanding pediatric care situations
- Expanding scope of responsibility driven by trust and expertise
- Composure, tact, and diplomacy in every interaction with patients, families, and colleagues
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA-accredited) + relevant Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of post-Master's clinical experience in pediatric SLP
- Advanced grounding in pediatric assessments and complex developmental/feeding disorders
- Ability to work calmly and diplomatically with children, anxious parents, and multidisciplinary teams
