Job Title: Recruiter

Job Code: Recruiter

Company: Zaleej Real Estate Company (KSCC)

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Management

Location: Kuwait City, Kuwait

Employment Type: Full-time, in-person

ABOUT US

Zaleej Real Estate Company (KSCC) is a Kuwait-based real estate company engaged in the development, construction, and management of residential and commercial properties. With active construction projects and managed assets across Kuwait, Zaleej takes a long-term, hands‑on approach to building and operating real estate.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Recruiter manages the full recruitment lifecycle across Zaleej and its affiliated companies, covering construction site, technical, property management, and corporate roles. Working closely with hiring managers and the HR team, the role ensures vacancies are filled with qualified candidates promptly, consistently, and in compliance with Kuwait Labour Law. Success in this role means a well-managed pipeline, shorter time-to-hire, and hiring managers who trust the quality of every shortlist.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage day-to-day, end-to-end recruitment for Zaleej and its affiliated companies, from vacancy request through to offer acceptance and joining.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand departmental hiring needs, define role requirements, and agree realistic hiring timelines.
  • Design and implement recruitment strategies and sourcing plans that match the volume and urgency of open roles.
  • Draft and finalise job descriptions and job advertisements, and publish them across job boards, Linked In, social media, and Whats App channels.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels, including direct search, referrals, recruitment agencies, and existing talent pools.
  • Screen and shortlist applications, conduct pre-screening calls and interviews, and assess candidates' skills, experience, and aptitude against job requirements.
  • Organise interviews, assessments, and tests for shortlisted candidates, and provide clear selection recommendations to management.
  • Conduct reference checks and verify candidates' qualifications and official documents.
  • Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-joining requirements with HR, Administration, Legal, and Accounts, including visa, work permit, and residency formalities.
  • Maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (Airtable, Workable, Linked In) to build a reliable pipeline of qualified talent.
  • Support new joiners with orientation and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and employee records, in hard and soft copy, in line with Kuwait Labour Law and internal policy.
  • Prepare recruitment reports covering pipeline status, time-to-hire, and source effectiveness.
  • Monitor market recruitment and compensation practices, and recommend improvements that strengthen the company's attractiveness as an employer.
  • Support the HR and Administration team with correspondence (memos, letters, certificates) and other tasks as required.
Essential
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter or in a talent acquisition role, ideally in Kuwait or the wider GCC.
  • Working knowledge of Kuwait Labour Law (Law No. 6 of 2010) and work permit and residency procedures.
  • Hands‑on experience with applicant tracking systems and candidate databases, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews and apply a range of selection methods.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong organisation and time‑management skills, with the ability to review high volumes of CVs and manage multiple vacancies to deadline.
  • Sound judgement and the discretion to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred
  • Arabic language skills.
  • Professional HR or talent acquisition certification (e.g. CIPD, SHRM).
  • Experience recruiting for real estate, construction, engineering, or property management roles.
  • Experience with recruitment marketing and social media sourcing.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple entities within a group or family business.
WHAT WE OFFER
  • Ownership of recruitment across a growing real estate and construction portfolio.
  • Exposure to a wide range of hiring — site, technical, property, and corporate roles.
  • A collaborative, hands‑on team environment.
  • Full-time employment with benefits in line with Kuwait Labour Law.
