A reputed company is looking for a SOC Monitoring Engineer - L1 (Tier
1).
- Monitor security alerts and events (SIEM, EDR, firewall, IDS/IPS).
- Perform initial triage and validate alerts.
- Escalate incidents to L2/L3 as per SOPs.
- Log and document incidents accurately in ticketing systems.
- Ensure SLA adherence for response and escalation.
- Conduct basic investigation and correlation of events.
- Monitor security dashboards continuously (24 7 shift).
- Generate routine reports and maintain logs.
- Follow incident response procedures and playbooks.
- Communicate with internal teams for incident updates.
Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
