Job Description
A reputable company is looking for a SOC monitoring engineer – L1 (Tier
1). Below is the job description.
- Monitor security alerts and events (SIEM, EDR, firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Perform initial triage and validate alerts
- Escalate incidents to L2/L3 as per SOPs
- Log and document incidents accurately in ticketing systems
- Ensure SLA adherence for response and escalation
- Conduct basic investigation and correlation of events
- Monitor security dashboards continuously (24x7 shift)
- Generate routine reports and maintain logs
- Follow incident response procedures and playbooks
- Communicate with internal teams for incident updates
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 4 years working experience.
