Solaris/Unix Administrator (with Storage Experience)

• Manage, monitor, and maintain Solaris/Unix server environments.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting of Solaris/Unix operating systems.
• Administer storage infrastructure including SAN, NAS, LUN allocation, zoning, and multipathing.
• Monitor system performance, storage utilization, and ensure high availability of critical services.
• Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations in coordination with backup teams.
• Support server and storage migrations, upgrades, and capacity planning activities.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, file system, and storage-related issues.
• Implement security hardening, user access management, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with application, virtualization, network, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and daily health check reports.
• Provide support during planned maintenance and critical incidents.

• Strong experience in Solaris/Unix administration.
• Good knowledge of storage technologies (SAN/NAS/Fibre Channel/iSCSI).
• Experience with file system management, RAID, and storage provisioning.
• Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery concepts.
• Familiarity with scripting and system monitoring tools is preferred.
