Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability solutions, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of critical business systems.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA
- Strong experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c (or later versions)
- Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and ASM
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery strategies
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, or similar)
- Good understanding of database security and compliance practices.
