IT Support Specialist (Female) Job Summary
On Point Technology is looking for a dedicated Female IT Support Specialist to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to employees and clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and application issues.
- Monitor and maintain local network infrastructure and internet connectivity.
- Set up user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.
- Document technical issues and maintain support records.
- Coordinate with the development and technical teams when necessary.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support when required.
- Ensure IT assets are properly maintained and inventoried.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Printers).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of Arabic and English.
- Gender: Female.
- Age: 25–35 years.
- Nationality: Arab.
- Location: Currently residing in Kuwait with a valid transferable residency.
- A valid Kuwait driving license is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, Routers, Switches).
- Experience with hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with printers, scanners, and other office IT equipment.
- Knowledge of user account management (Active Directory and Microsoft 365 is a plus).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain software and operating systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and a good command of English.
