Senior Information Technology Auditor Job Kuwait City area,Al Asimah Kuwait,IT/Tech

Ensures all IS audit activities are carried out in compliance with The International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and IA manual.
Conduct information systems audits as per approved audit plans and objectives with minimal or no supervision.
Assist in the evaluation of the control environment and internal controls regarding information technology and information security.
Lead the fieldwork activities and ensure sufficient testing is carried out to ensure accuracy and completeness of audit procedures and document results of testing while ensuring all work papers are in compliance with IPPF.
Document audit work to ensure the audit programs are adequately completed and assist in preparation of written reports of audit results and ensure all review comments provided by IA management are rectified.
Assists preparation of follow-up reports and reviews the results of audits. Follows-up with concerned departments / organizations to ensure approved recommendations have been implemented and corrective action based on the approval of Head of IT & Continuous Audit.
Assists in implementing Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) to automate and interpret large sets of data to identify control gaps, trends etc.
Ensure compliance to ongoing quality assurance program over all internal IS audit activities at the Bank.
Performs his / her duties with objectivity, due diligence and professional care, in accordance with IPPF.
Services the interest of stakeholders in lawful and honest manner, while maintaining high standards of conduct and character, and not engaging in acts discreditable to the Internal Audit Division and profession.

Education:

Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or relevant.

Professional

Qualification:

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Minimum: 3-5 years' professional experience in information systems auditing or related field
