Role Purpose
To support the Tax function in driving automation and efficiency through the use of Microsoft Power Platform and emerging AI tools. The role will focus on reducing manual processes, enhancing reporting capabilities & leveraging AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to enable intelligent, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and assess opportunities to automate manual processes within the Tax function
- Design and implement automation solutions using:
Power Automate, Power Apps, Other Microsoft Power Platform tools - Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Build automation solutions for:
Data consolidation and validation, Reporting and reconciliation processes, Document generation and approval workflows - Leverage AI tools (including Microsoft Copilot and Claude) to:
Enhance automation workflows, Improve reporting and content generation, Support intelligent and efficient process execution - Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize AI tool usage in business scenarios
- Collaborate with Tax stakeholders to understand business requirements & translate them into practical automation solutions
- Ensure all solutions align with internal controls, data privacy & governance requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Process automation, Digital transformation, Data analytics or reporting
- Strong hands-on experience with:
Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Share Point - Practical experience using AI tools (such as Copilot, Claude, or similar) in a business environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to simplify complex processes
- Ability to translate business requirements into automation solutions
- Understanding of prompt engineering and AI-assisted workflows
- Experience developing AI-driven automation use cases
- Exposure to Tax or professional services environments
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, SQL, VBA, JavaScript, Power Shell, or similar, to support automation, data processing & system integration
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong process improvement mindset
- Ability to deliver practical, scalable solutions
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
