SharePoint Administrator/ Knowledge Management Specialist
Location:
Kuwait City, Kuwait.
Full‑time on site position supporting AFCENT under the Communications Technical Support Services contract.
Key responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and operating medium to large SharePoint farm infrastructure, customizing workflows, performing business process analysis, and ensuring the stability and performance of SharePoint environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain medium to large SharePoint farms.
- Create custom workflows and web parts using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and .NET.
- Analyze business processes and map functional requirements.
- Plan, configure, and test system implementations.
- Perform hardware and software maintenance, including servers, PCs, and peripheral equipment.
- Monitor and sustain SharePoint and related infrastructure.
- Review and recommend software applications and hardware characteristics.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Office SharePoint Server environments (2010/2013 or later).
- Work with Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, CRM, ADFS, Exchange, and Active Directory.
- Assist with enterprise search, content management, and shared services.
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree.
- 3–5 years of experience in SharePoint administration and related technologies.
- Associate‑level experience in designing, maintaining, and operating medium to large SharePoint farms.
- Strong business process analysis and user/functional requirement mapping skills.
- Experience with custom development in .NET and deployment of Web Parts.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, CRM, Active Directory, and enterprise search.
- Hands‑on troubleshooting skills for SharePoint and Microsoft Windows environments.
- U.S. citizenship;
Secret security clearance. - DoD 8570.01‑M certification or equivalent (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CKM, ITIL v4 Foundation).
- Microsoft certifications: MCTS – SharePoint & SharePoint Server, MCITP – SharePoint Administrator (preferred).
Estimated salary range: $92,325 – $124,910. Compensation may vary by experience, location, and contractual requirements.
