Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for archive and correspondence applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Laserfiche workflows, repositories, and integrations.
• Administer MS-SQL databases, including performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Oversee server infrastructure and storage systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Diagnose and resolve application, server, and database issues in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, SOPs, and escalation procedures.
• Support end-users with training, guidance, and troubleshooting assistance.
• Ensure systems adhere to organizational policies, data protection standards, and IT governance frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in Laserfiche system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS environments (Windows Server, Active Directory).
• Hands‑on expertise with MS-SQL (queries, stored procedures, optimization).
• Experience in server and storage administration (SAN/NAS, virtualization, backup solutions).
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise support frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across ministries and vendors.

• Experience with digital transformation projects in government or enterprise settings.
• Knowledge of workflow automation and OCR integration.
• Bilingual communication (Arabic & English) for technical and executive reporting.
