The Dev Ops Engineer role at Value & Growth Advisory-VGA is a full-time, on-site position based in kuwait. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery. The Dev Ops Engineer will manage and automate infrastructure, oversee system administration tasks, and ensure stable, secure Linux-based environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with development teams, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and improving deployment processes.
The role also requires documenting operational procedures and contributing to best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Candidates should possess skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and System Administration to manage and automate environments effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Continuous Integration and Software Development to support and optimize CI/CD workflows.
- Candidates should possess strong Linux skills to administer, secure, and troubleshoot server environments.
- Experience with common Dev Ops tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or similar) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and networking fundamentals is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
