Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure & Google Cloud Platform

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Cloud Engineer with 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have strong cloud infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code, API Management, Dev Ops, and cloud security skills.

You will be responsible for designing, deploying, securing, automating, and supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure while working closely with software engineering, Dev Ops, cybersecurity, and solution architecture teams.

This role requires someone who enjoys automation, troubleshooting, continuous learning, and building scalable cloud platforms.

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Provision and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, databases, and managed cloud services.
• Perform infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, resource optimization, and cost optimization.
• Design highly available and scalable cloud architectures.
• Manage subscriptions, projects, resource groups, virtual networks, and identity services.
• Support disaster recovery and backup strategies.

• Configure and manage:

• Route Tables
• VPN Gateways
• Express Route
• Cloud VPN
• Load Balancers

• Azure Firewall
• DNS
• Private Endpoints
• Troubleshoot connectivity and network performance issues.
• Implement secure hybrid connectivity.

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Containerize applications using Docker.
• Configure ingress controllers.
• Implement autoscaling.
• Perform cluster monitoring and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot production Kubernetes environments.

Experience with one or more:

• Azure API Management (APIM)
• Google Apigee

Automate infrastructure provisioning across environments.

Implement cloud security best practices including:

• Microsoft Defender for Cloud
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Azure Security Center
• IAM
• RBAC
• Managed Identities
• Key Vault
• Secrets Management

Work with Security Operations Center (SOC) teams to investigate alerts and strengthen cloud security posture.

Support cloud operations through:

• Azure Monitor
• Log Analytics
• Application Insights
• Google Cloud Operations Suite
• Microsoft Sentinel
• SOC monitoring
• NOC support
• Incident management
• Root cause analysis
• Performance tuning

Exposure to modern AI services including:

• Azure AI Foundry

• Vertex AI (preferred)

Support AI application deployment and infrastructure.

• Work with Solution Architects.
• Support development teams.
• Participate in infrastructure reviews.
• Assist during production releases.
