Actively participate in business requirements walkthrough sessions facilitated by the Business Analyst, and complete proof of concept or current state validation in a test environment where required.
Review and provide feedback on the business requirements to ensure that they can be validated and identify gaps or other issues which may present a risk to the test cycle.
Will be assigned to lead BAT activities for projects with medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders at various levels in the organization.
Support the planning and coordination of System maintenance, small scale change, and production incident testing.

BAT Planning

Create a professional BAT Plan containing all relevant information relating to the cycle, present the completed document to the project team to obtain necessary buy-in, and obtain stakeholder approval.
Create BAT Test cases according to established protocol and with full traceability back to the business requirements and functional specifications documents to ensure appropriate and comprehensive test coverage. Accurately assign risk priority to each test case using established guidelines. Also, organizes Business /Operations resources for test scheduling
Identify, secure, train (if applicable) and supervise business and BAT testing resources to ensure adequate coverage and timeline management during the test cycle.

BAT Execution

Accurately and efficiently, execute test cases according to priority.
Record and retain results as per established protocol and ensure that testers are doing the same at all times.
Effectively monitor progress of testers, coordinate efforts and scheduling, and provide ongoing feedback throughout the cycle.
Provide guidance and manage the Offshore Contractual testers.
Monitors and reports system functionality readiness from user and customer perspective as well as reports system failures and error(s) throughout BAT testing process
Monitors compliance and reports on BAT deadlines, BAT schedule, related processes, policies, procedures, standard, business requirements and/or related forms etc.

Implementation and Closeout

Assist the Business and Project Manager in the implementation planning process to ensure adequate business validation is performed by the impacted operational areas.
Provide implementation support on-site to impacted business units when required. Follow established issue management and reporting protocol at all times.
Provide feedback during project close-out on lessons learned and suggest opportunities for improvement for future initiatives.

Issue Management

Schedule, prepare for, and facilitate UAT status and issue review meetings. This includes the creation and management of the issue log.
Provide accurate, professional and timely status updates to project stakeholders that is appropriate to the audience.
Escalate potential risks as they are identified and provide accurate recommendations for risk mitigation or recovery options.

Educational Qualifications &

Experience:

Graduate Degree in Computer Science or a University Graduate in the same fields.
Also preferred to have Test Management certifications (ISTQB/CSTE) and Agile Methodology.
Minimum 6-8 years in Consumer Banking Business/Product/Operations or as an IT liaison. Has experience and is a subject matter expert with several Consumer/Corporate Banking Systems, E-Channels, and Products.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent must have experience working in the financial services industry, have excellent knowledge of UAT methodology and industry best practices, and possess the ability to plan and execute test cycles with accuracy and a high level of attention to detail
Systems environment:
Core Banking (Preferable Bancs), CRM, LOS, Middleware (ESB), Switch, Online Banking, IVR, Mobile Banking, Remedy, ATM/CDM/ITM, Vision+, SQL, Data Source/DWH
Customer Channels:
Branch, Call Center, Self-Service Channels
