IT Consultant, Cybersecurity, Network Security, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations
The PANW Consultant will serve as a dedicated on-site technical resource supporting Redington Palo Alto Networks (PANW) business.
This role strengthens our local presence and plays a key role in the successful deployment and optimization of PANW Security solutions, elevating service delivery and customer/Partner satisfaction.
The engineer will support both Pre-Sales activities (solution design, technical presentations, demo, PoC) and post-sales activities (deployment, troubleshooting, optimization).
Should-Have Technical ExpertiseCandidates should have strong hands-on knowledge & experience in the following Palo Alto core technologies:
Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) – PA-Series / VM-Series (Security Policies, NAT, Routing, Decryption, AAA, High Availability, Load Balancing, SD-WAN, IOT Security)
Preferred knowledge on Cortex XDR, XSOAR, XSIAM, Prisma SASE.
User-, LDAP/AD Integration
Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, static routing)
Experience in multi-vendor environments is a strong advantage.
Deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops to customers.
Assist in solution design, BoQ creation, sizing, and architecture planning.
Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) testing and validate Palo Alto solutions.
Work with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose the right solution.
Deploy, configure, and optimize Palo Alto Networks security platforms.
Provide on-site and remote technical support for operational issues.
Troubleshoot firewall, VPN, routing, and security policy issues.
Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams to ensure smooth integration.
Act as a local escalation point and coordinate with Palo Alto TAC if needed.
Review security posture, identify performance gaps, and recommend improvements.
Ensure best practices are followed to maximize platform performance and security.
Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5-6 years of hands‑on experience with Palo Alto Networks NGFW.
Preferred experience on Cortex XDR, XSOAR, XSIAM, Prisma SASE.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and configuration skills.
Experience working in customer-facing roles.
Solid understanding of network security concepts and L2/L3 networking.
Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE, PCNSA, PSE Strata Professional) are a strong advantage.
