Our long-term Internship Program provides individuals with sustained, practical exposure to the IT Risk Consulting practice at KPMG Kuwait. As an intern, you will support technology risk consulting engagements, assess technology-related risks and controls, and work alongside experienced professionals to help clients strengthen their technology governance, risk management, cybersecurity, and resilience capabilities.

• Assist engagement teams in delivering IT risk consulting and technology risk assessment services.
• Support reviews of IT governance, IT General Controls (ITGCs), cybersecurity, access management, third-party risk, business continuity, and technology resilience.
• Conduct research, data analysis, process walkthroughs, control testing, and documentation to support client engagements.
• Assist in identifying control gaps, evaluating technology risks, and developing practical recommendations.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and internal discussions under the guidance of senior team members.

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• A basic understanding of technology risks, internal controls, cybersecurity, or IT governance is preferred.
• Interest in pursuing a relevant professional certification, such as CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001, or a related qualification, is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
